Each natural dyescape pillow is hand-dyed by natural pigment artist Ginni Seehagel creating a one of a kind piece of artwork that acts as a functional canvas. The dyescape series contains unique compositions that celebrate the connection to real and imagined landscapes. This series complements the two-dimensional works in the Mindscapes collection.

Each 'Horizon' dyescape is hand-dipped and layered with two sources of natural colour including avocado peels and natural indigo to create contrasting liminal space. Dyes are professionally set and can withstand normal washing, care instructions below. Each composition has its own story, no two are exactly the same.

The pictured composition is one of five unique ‘Horizon’ dyescapes. By placing an order on this listing you will receive an original artwork that carries the same palette and essence as the one shown, but that will have its own individual movement and dye placement.

All ‘Horizon’ pillows have a naturally dyed and white front panel and solid black backing with matching zipper.

Product Care:

This item is made from natural materials, pigments, and dyes that may evolve in appearance slightly over time due to their organic chemistry. Treat all naturally dyed textile items as you would any specialty piece. Use effortlessly, enjoy, though keep in mind that frequent washings and extensive exposure to direct sunlight may accelerate aging of the piece. Wash in cold water with mild detergent, lay flat or tumble dry on a low setting.
